1978-1979

1978-79 The season brought another milestone for wrestling at Northwestern Lehigh.  If the individual accomplishment is to become a State Champ, then the ultimate team accomplishment would be to possess a State Team Championship stamp.  This was achieved in impressive fashion by the wrestling of Kurt Wentz (Quarter-Finalist), Vince Stravino (State runner-up), and Greg Stewart (State Champ).  Other wrestlers who contributed to a fine 12-3 record were Jeff Stewart, Pete Klechner, and Geoff Lynn (Team Captain).  What a thrill and honor to be part of this team!
