1966-1967

1966-1967 the wrestling season ended with three boys winning the first round in the District qualifying tournament.  Joel Fenstermaker made the quarterfinals before he was eliminated.  Wrestling fans and parents realized the potential and ability of NWL wrestling this season.  This is a quote from the 1965-66 yearbook that shows the insight, "With time and more practice, Northwestern is sure to have one of the best wrestling squads in the area."  In this season, Coach Phillips assisted Coach Civitts.
