Jim
Moll (Head
Coach)
 Coach
Moll is entering his first season as the Tiger's
head coach
after 2 years as the Northwestern JH
coach. Jim
came to Tiger Country from Wilson
where he was an assistant on
the varsity level for
two years. While at Wilson Coach Moll coached five
District
Champions, one Regional Champion, and eight State Qualifiers.
Four of which went on
to
earn a medal at Hershey.
Jim also coached a
JV
District Champion
Jim is a 1999 graduate of Wilson Area
High School where he had an outstanding
high school career.
He is a four-year letter winner while winning a District
Title.
Coach Moll
finished third in the Regional twice, qualifying him for states
where he
placed seventh. Upon
graduation Coach Moll attended Delaware Valley
College where he
was a three-year letter winner.
Jim
is currently in his 3rd year teaching Technology Education at
Northwestern
Lehigh Middle School.
Bart
Wehr (High School Assistant)
Bart
is a 1994 graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School. He
wrestled for 3 years on the high school team. His senior year
he placed 1st at the Jim Thorpe Christmas Tournament, was the
Centennial League Champion, placed 3rd in both the District and
Regional Tournaments, and qualified for the PIAA State Wrestling Tournament.
Upon
graduation, Bart joined the International Brotherhood of Electrical
Workers Local #375, where he now works as a Journeyman Electrician
for Albarell Electric Inc. He has coach in the NWL Youth
program for the past 7 years. He is married to his wife Kelly
with three children; Kina, Baily, and Josephine. They reside in
Orefield, and all attend Northwestern Lehgih.
Dave
Evans (Head JH Coach)
 Coach
Evans Is entering his tenth year as a wrestling coach at
Northwestern Lehigh. He was an assistant coach from 1985 to
1988 with Coach Pladus and Coach Heusgen. Coach Evans took over as
head coach for four seasons, from 1988-89 to 1991-92. During
this time he coached many district, regional, and state place
winners. After taking some time off to start a family, Coach Evans
returned to help Coach Smith run the Junior High program during the
96-97 and the 97-98 seasons. Coach Evans has also coached
football for the past 24 years for the Tigers, and is a science
teacher at the middle school. He is married to Majorie Evans, and
has two sons, Mitchell and Davis.
Walter
Frisch
(J.H./Varsity
Assistant Coach)
Coach
Frisch is entering his eighth season as a coach at the Junior High level.
He has been a critical member of NWL's coaching staff.
Coach Frisch is no stranger to Northwestern Lehigh. He graduated
from Northwestern in 1981 where he wrestled for nine years. He was
a member of the very impressive 1979 State Champion Wrestling Team.
Coach Frisch has spent many years coaching at the youth level. He
continued his education at Delaware Valley College where he graduated
with a degree in Agronomy.
Coach
Frisch currently resides in New Tripoli and is married to his wife
Kelly. Coach Frisch has three children, Lucas, Jacqueline, and
Sydney.
